Ten fellows featured at a celebration in their honor.

On May 20, 2004, a celebration was held at The Drake Hotel in Chicago to honor the 2001 Developing Leadership in Reducing Substance Abuse Fellows who have completed their three-year fellowship. The ten graduating fellows are Samira Asma, Jacqueline Jackson Bridges, Evelyn Castro, Mickey Eliason, Brion Fox, Jim Gogek, Tamu Mitchell, Dalimarie Perez, Stanley Richards and Jeff Servinski. The celebration included a presentation by each of the 2001 fellows, special comments from each of their mentors, and a keynote presentation by Nancy J. Kaufman, who, while she was a Vice President at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, provided the initial impetus for the program. We congratulate the 2001 DLRSA Fellows and wish them continued success.
